Lauren Martin is a working mom and theatre artist based in Vancouver, which exists on the unceded traditional lands of the Coast Salish People. Lauren has performed sketch comedy from Montreal to the Gulf Islands and she wrote her first short film Ambiguous by Strapless which screened with JFL NW and VIWIFF in 2017.

A graduate of Vancouver Film School, Lauren now teaches Sketch Comedy in the Writing Department and is the Director of the VFS Sketch Company. Lauren serves as a Board Member for Direct Theatre Collective, who will be remounting their award-winning show, Hysteria at the Havana Theatre in September.
